On 30 October 2003, the Argentine Baptist Mission and the International Mission Board celebrated 100 years of Southern Baptist presence in Argentina.	El 30 de octubre de 2003, la  Misión Evangélica Bautista y la International Mission Board celebraron 100 años de presencia misionera de los Bautistas del Sur en la Argentina
The event was a part of the International Baptist Theological Seminary's annual conferences. In addition to those attending the meeting in Buenos Aires, a live Internet video conference server made possible the attendance of two other groups of former missionary personnel and guests at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Ft. Worth TX) and North Greenville College (Tigerville SC). Special thanks to Bill DeWysockie and Mike Houston at SWBTS and Dr. Allen McWhite and the IT personnel at NGC for making this possible! Commemorative pens, pencils, magnets, notepads, and folders featuring the centennial logo (see below) were produced and distributed.	Bolígrafos, lápices, imanes, bloques de notas, y carpetas que lustran el logo conmemorativo fueron producidos y distribuidos.
Southern Baptists' centennial of missionary presence in Argentina is also being commemorated with the publication of a book (in both English and Spanish) containing articles that look at the role missionaries played in the development of Baptist work in Argentina. Included are general historical surveys by Arnoldo Canclini, Justice Anderson, and Mark Alexander, as well as the specific treatment of Church Growth, Worship Patterns & Music, and Theological Education by Bob Garrett, Bruce Muskrat, and Stanley Clark, respectively. The remaining articles treat issues that all missionaries have in common, examined from the Argentine context: Adopted Home and Mission Field, Missionaries with Language Skills and Cross-cultural adaptation, and Missionary Family and Lifestyle by Jack Glaze, Ben and LaNell Bedford, and Karen Alexander respectively. At the end of the book are a number of useful references: a timeline prepared by Clayton Rock, photos selected and arranged by David and Barbara Vick, and a personnel list compiled by Bruce Muskrat that includes all the missionaries who have served as a part of the Argentine Baptist Mission family.
